Jonathan Delman, Ph.D., JD., M.P.H.
Jonathan Delman is a Principal at Reservoir Consulting Group, a consumer-run research and management consulting firm. Prior to that, he helped to found and served as executive director at Consumer Quality Initiatives, Inc., a Massachusetts based mental health consumer directed research and evaluation organization.
Mr. Delman is considered a national expert in both community-based participatory mental health action research and consumer-driven evaluation. He is currently a PI on two transition age youth studies: 1) developing a conceptual model for the active participation of young adults in making treatment decisions (partially funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation), and 2) the housing preferences of urban-based young adults. He also consults with several academic institutions on working with consumers as researchers and on developing impactful consumer advisory boards.
Jonathan Delman is a 2008 recipient of a Robert Wood Johnson Community Health Leader award, one of ten awarded nationally, because of his innovative work in participatory action research and evaluation, particularly with young adults. Jonathan, who lives with bipolar disorder, received a BA in economics from Tufts University, a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Masters in Public Health from Boston University. He is currently a Doctoral candidate in Health Policy and Management at the Boston University School of Public Health.
